Turning cold.

We have all been complaining about the heat, and how we are all melting on this side of the world. Well Cape Town sent us a cold front, and we are really feeling it here now, and this sky shows just how much!!

This time of the year we normally have warm days - not the melting type, and certainly not this arctic type thing either. :-)

Most Durbanites will recognise this view of the N2 heading south from Umhlanga. So many businesses have move to the Gateway area resulting it many working folk taking this journey most days.

The business of beads.

These little pavement businesses have started up all over Durban. The owners are Zimbabweans who cannot find work in their own country, so have brought their beading skills to South Africa.

No shoes please, were Hindu.

Shoes are not permitted in a Hindu Temple, so they have provided this rather pretty shoe rack outside the door.

The Entrance.

I rather like this entrance to the Kendra Temple. Blue mirrored glass and white columns appeals to me.

The Breakfast Run.

Luis' blog My Beginnings In Photography gave the tip - when an item is too big to get a meaningful picture, then zoom in on one aspect of interest and show that. Today, I thought I'd give it a try and see what comes out. I rather liked this one because my fellow tavellers are clearly reflected.

Our weather is just so magnificent at this time of the year, so the best way to spend a Sunday morning is exploring the countryside on a motor bike. The Breakfast Runs are quite popular amongst bikers, and our group comprising 3 bikes, and 5 or 6 people are no exception.

If you'd like to see the whole bike, have a look at The Breakfast Run Blog.
