Fulton School for the Deaf.

The Fulton School for the Deaf, situated in Gillits (new Hillcrest, outside Durban city), includes Pre-primary, Primary and High School Setions, and caters for the specific education needs of Deaf learners. Their current enrolment stands at 100 children ranging in age from 3 to 22 years old. They provide hostel facilities for a large number of learners who are unable to commute to school each day.

They provide academic, cultural, sporting, social and spiritual experiences for the holistic development of the learners.

This is the front verandah of the main house, which was donated by Mr and Mrs J.K. Fulton in January 1959.

Do you also feel the character when you visit these older buildings? The wide verandah, and beautiful doors and windows.
