This tree has the good fortune to live in the Durban Botanical Gardens. The very long, very low branches attract children of all ages. They are so accessible, and so flexible, and appear to be strong enough for the smaller ones to enjoy a swing. While the tree seems to enjoy the attention, the park keeper takes no chances, and quickly reminds visitors there will be no climbing in the trees.
Through the Transkei
-
Up early again, cos everyone's itching to get through the Transkei. When
the bikes start revving, you know you'd better hurry, or you could be left
behind....

A tree shaped like that would be irresistable. I, too, would want to climb it.
A beautiful and welcoming tree indeed.
