My friend suggested I wait at the speed hump on the way out to get some good photos. He said all the guys will slow down to go over them, and he was absolutely right! After all, these are sports cars so they're excellent on sprints and long distance, but hurdles are a challenge not worth taking.
Anyone want to provide details on this car for me?
Since no-one else is featuring sports cars today, I'll be satisfied with any form of vehicles:
Today we say goodbye to Jeremy in Paris. Go well, and we hope to see you from time to time.
Not quite a sports car in Rome.
Fighting fires in Palm Springs.
Through the Transkei
-
Up early again, cos everyone's itching to get through the Transkei. When
the bikes start revving, you know you'd better hurry, or you could be left
behind....

That's pretty smart (to stop by a speed bump). Nice car, but don't know what it is.
Nice pic of a great car. Difficult to know which one it is wihout the model and model year. Side pipes are a clue. It may be a mid 1960's Shelby Cobra, made by Ford Motor Company with the 427 cubic inch (7.0 L) V8 engine producing 425 horsepower. Top speed was about 165 MPH or 262 KM/h. That is about all I know, what little I do know about it. I hope this helps.
