A few days ago, I showed you the face of a building in Point Road. Well, here are some which have been completed. It now becomes obvious why it's necessary to keep these old buildings. These beautiful buildings from yesteryear, certainly deserved the facelift.
Point road, which is next to the harbour, had for many years been the home of those down on their luck. Fortunately they have all moved out, to make way for the restoration of this area.

the bikes start revving, you know you'd better hurry, or you could be left
behind....

It's always too bad that people havae to be displaced when areas are refurbished. Seems it is inevitable, tho.
I SPENT MY CHILDhood AND TEENAGE YEARS IN POINT ROAD IN THE 50s and loved it
