When you have no space for a garden outside, the next best thing is to bring the garden inside.

This block of flats (apartments) is situated in the Durban city centre. You walk out the front door, onto busy West St. The other 3 sides have buildings tight up against it, so all you see are walls or roofs. Very common in large cities.

Since people need the feel of nature around them in order to feel human, these residents have their own indoor garden to remind them.
