Since our first democratic elections in 1994, people have become very proudly South African. And this guy, selling all sorts of little trinkets is no exception.
The design and colours on our flag have become quite popular as they lend themselves to all manner of interesting items. It is really great that people feel sufficiently comfortable with the flag, and passionate about the country, that the want to identify with it in this way.

it is cool how people have got behind the flag and taken pride in it. And it is such a good design too, i have seen some brilliant adaptations in graphics to convey various themes, like sports, agriculture etc
