Full marks for creativity

His sign reads:  "Destitute.  In need of employment.  R10 to book into a shelter.  Please help.  Any donation."

As the interest rate goes up, and the petrol price goes up, and with it the price of everything else, there are more and more people out of work.  Life is getting really tough for everyone.

This relatively young man found a really creative and charming way to highlight his plight.

Zim update:  No significance changes to improve the plight of the people.   The so-called president still believes the people voted him in, fair and square!
The latest suggestion is that Mugabe become the ceremonial head of the country, and Tsvangirai become the Prime Minister, so that he can actually do the work.  This could work, as long as Mugabe keeps his nose out of everything and continues with what he does best - strutting around in his sunday best, doing nothing noteworthy.

Give that fellow an ‘A’ for effort. I bet that there was a little girl involved at some point with all that glitter!

On Mugabe, it’s hard to see how Tsvangirai could possibly work with him, given the escalation of murder, rape and general violence against DMC supporters over the past two months. It will be interesting to see what will happen when Mbeki moves on.
