As we were driving along, I could see that the end of the rainbow was over my house. Unfortunately when I arrived home, there was no pot of gold :-( Maybe you have to be there at the time!
Through the Transkei

Up early again, cos everyone's itching to get through the Transkei. When
the bikes start revving, you know you'd better hurry, or you could be left
behind....

My Skywatch
Don't go busting my dreams. I'm CERTAIN there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. You must have looked at the wrong end. This is beautiful.
how lovely I LOVE rainbow photos :)
I think you've already found it. It's beauty.
Great stuff, love the rainbow,,,, but Ive got the gold-dont tell.
I love your rainbow.
What an interesting site you have here.
You probably DO have to be there. Someone probably took it before you got home. Pretty capture.
Wonderful picture! I love rainbow-photos. They are so magical.
The trouble with those darned rainbows is that the end keeps moving, preventing us from finding those pots of gold. I suppose the real prize is the rainbows themselves.
Maybe you have to dig in the garden for it. Maybe you do'nt know the tale of the poor farmer with stony poor loil? He had three lazy sons and on his deathbed he told them that the gold lay buried in the ground. They asked him where, but it was too late. Being greedy they got out the spades and started digging. They dug up the whole holding three times and still they found no gold. Then one of them hit on the bright idea that since the soil was so well loosened, they should sow some wheat. The wheat grew and ripened and, one morning as they looked out at the field of glden grain, they understood where the gold was buried.
We had a rainbow yesterday afternoon. I didn't find the pot o gold either ;)
Beautiful Rainbow.. I never managed to capture 1.... this is a superb photo!
