A little over a week ago I posted a photo of the bluff, showing a little of the beach. From the same position, looking in the other direction, are the bathing beaches of Durban.
The nearest line into the sea, is of bathers, where hundreds of people enjoy the gentle waves. They need to remain between the beacons so the lifesavers can keep an eye on things. A little way out, the shark nets ensure that Mr Jaws and his scary music are denied a tasty lunch.
Through the Transkei

Up early again, cos everyone's itching to get through the Transkei. When
the bikes start revving, you know you'd better hurry, or you could be left
behind....
