With all the heat and humidity over Christmas we were all wishing for cooler weather, but we didn't mean this cold!
This is unusual for January. I remember long blistering hot days, then storms at about 5pm. This photo was taken at about 10 this morning. The last few days have all been the same. Not very nice for taking photos unfortunately.
This is the entrance to Westway and Westend, two new office parks next to the Pavillion.

Up early again, cos everyone's itching to get through the Transkei. When
the bikes start revving, you know you'd better hurry, or you could be left
behind....

I love the palm trees with the leaves all one side. They are so Durban to me.
