Wood is always good.

All along the beach area are a number of stalls where one can buy many beautiful souvenirs. This man sits patiently creating the stock for his stall. I do so admire these artists who confidently carve out a beautiful picture on their choice of material. They get it right first time, with no problems at all. If it were me, no bin would be big enough for the discarded, crumpled pieces of wood!

these guys are so talented, it is just a shame that the market is so flooded that they are not taken seriously as artists, because many of them go way beyond 'craft' and really are very good artists!
